Here’s a cheeky little post about Cedric Laquieze. He creates skeletons with quite extreme expressions that have been embellished with intensely vivid coloured fake flowers. He refers to these works as flower creatures.
He has recently collaborated with the designer Iris Van Herpen to help create her incredible bird dress that was shown at Paris for Fashion week this year. He created bird heads which were used to embellish the dress (see photos below). The heads were gull skulls with pearls, silicone and flower details.
