Sylvanian Families meets traditional game hunting in these dark yet whimsical works by Brooke Weston.
Weston creates fantastical dioramas inside cavities carved out of old taxidermy pieces. She works almost entirely with recycled materials.
With inspiration coming from old fairy tale illustrations and theme parks it is clear to see why it is so easy to project your own ideas and stories onto the work. You can spend hours peering into one of her tiny dioramas thinking about who might live there and what they might get up to.
I’m a real sucker for miniatures and the combination of that and taxidermy is ticking all the boxes for me. Beautiful.
